Roll On : My Cheap Stuff Hunt!

Dec 22, 2014

For the past month, I get myself a lot of stuff for a really cheap price. Mostly because I come to places selling things cheap. Although got some stuff just amazingly so cheap just out of the blue. It's been a great deal i have to say. It was still a nice stuff, not something whacky of what so ever.

Let me share with you this amazing "journey" :D

now i have two of these. blue and red. comel kan kan
  • Le helmet. I have two helmet. One is mine and the other is my friend's who borrowed it to me. She don't use it anymore and it got stolen. Arghhh. It was just annoying. The cheapest helmet would be around RM40 (as far as I know lah) and it stressed me out since I still need to ganti my friend's helmet. So long story cut short, I went for my makcik house the other day and finally get the chance to went for Pasar Karat which they have been prompting us to go for several times. We finally got the time and whalla! I found a second hand helmet which cost me only RM25. It is even in a better condition than my other helmet which is actually the same model and cost RM40!

  • My new purse. Eh wallet. It's a guy-designed one so I thougt it should be referred as a wallet but I'm a woman so should it be called as purse instead? Still bugging me till now. I just have to get this kind of wallet/purse since I want it to easily be placed in my pocket. My old one's have holes everywhere and when I see this fellow cost only RM3 i buy it right away! I found this as Plaza GM. Since they only sell things in borong when the have like extra stock they want to clear off they will put it in a box and placed it in front of their shop. The price were just crazy. They even have these cute snicker for only RM9! But they don't have it in my size though. T_________T

baru beli semalam :D
  • Fancy blue snickers. I always wanted a snickers but I will always opted for a nice flats instead. It is so cute to wear snicker with almost everything! But a nice one would cost a sum of money and it feel too much to waste as i still have other shoes with sort of like a snicker. Put all that guilt aside when i found this gem for only RM10, i quickly buy one.  Funnily, i found this at Rapid supermarket which was just opened. We went there because it was recently opened. Kalau tak kami pergi Econsave since we got this idea that Rapid is mahal.

  • Kid dining set. Nabila always wanted this stuff when she have any jamuan at school. They ask the kids to bring their own pinggan and sudu and cawan. I love to give her thing and most importantly thing that she need. Well sort of. but i'm a stingy sister. The one that i found cost quite a sum of money for simple plastic set. Upon seeing this set cost only RM2 i find a pink one (her favourite colour) and even match it with that pink tumbler which only cost RM1. She was so happy that she use it during lunch and dinner. The best thing is that it is a small plate since it was made children. It help to control portion that she ate. She have become quite chubby and this is really a good way to control her eating. I actully found this at this sort of kedai RM2 near UO. It was so hard to find this kind of shop here in Chow Kit. I don't understand why though.

  • Cool jeans bag. Jeans is always in and this one were so cute and fancy and just me. I love how well it made and it big size. It was made to last longer since it's made up from jeans. This gem piece was also found in Pasar Karat. Of course second hand lah. They pile up all this bag for RM5. Actually, i intended to find some nice big luggage bag or something to carry my cloth and stuff whenever I'm going for a couple of days of trip. That is the kind of bag that attract me to this pile but it seems that the bags were just hideous. Since I was searching all over the pile that I found this baby. After some hard thought since I don't really need such bag I decided to buy it anyway because it is only RM5.

  • The pink bag. Following my quest for a big-a-couple-of-days-trip bag. I'm still in search for this. Finally found this fellow at Plaza GM just like my wallet/purse one which they just put it in a box in front of their shop. I found some other cute one but this is the only one i needed. But quite frankly, I'm not into pink. It was not some streotyped kind of dislike but at some stuff i just don't want it to be pink. This was one of the case but it's purpose wins over so i compromised~

There are some more stuff but I just share the best one that I thought need to be shared. Plaza GM were much of clothing and shawls and towels and cheap jewelleries kind of stuff. We were aiming to find plastic bottles which they don't have.

That Pasar Karat sure have some more fancy stuff you all can check it out. It is located at parking lot of Stadium Shah Alam and held every Sunday if i'm not mistaken. It's really my new favourite place and I'm very looking forward to go there again. They have a lot of stuff from clothing to food to wet market at one side and dry market at the other side. They even have cars!

Roll On : Patience on Things You Like

Dec 19, 2014

In this world of tarbiyah, one's will constantly asked themselves of what they did daily. It would be a critical judgement because we genuinely believe and "feels" the urge that we can't simply be living out for nothing.

we start to judge ourselves for things we do that gives us nothing. like watching movies and reading comics. where at one point in our life, we used to thought it as simply things people do. we feel no guilt at this time. before tarbiyah time. though we do understand that it bring us nothing and was just an act of wasting times. simply because everyone were doing it we start to have this mentality that it is really ok.

how subtle the game syaitan play. we fall into believing things that is WRONG were okay. but deep down if you were to ask yourself, you would be actually realizes how wrong it is. it is because we have been born with fitrah of loving to do things Allah love and leave things Allah hates. WE HAVE THAT IT US.

but we leave it behind. by time we leave it far behind that it sort of didn't exist anymore that we start saying 'OKAY' for all of this wrong thing. Innalillah~

O you who have believed, fear Allah . And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allah . Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do. (59:18)

but being in tarbiyah world doesn't really grant you that super strength to maintain yourselves from falling into syaitan trap. well, they do have sworn to keep on misguiding us till the end of time.

[Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all (15:39)

at one side it does. but we ourselves must take our own action. don't leave the jemaah. keep on working to upgrade your muthabaah. and please be patients on things you "like". it is far more complicated to fight things you really want but it you keep on reminding youselves it would greatly help. the best way to remind ourselves is to read al-quran. put your heart into understanding it. be that person who the quran is referring to. Allah give quran for all His slaves. Not simply for that person at that time. Don't restrict this mukjizat of His.

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah (2:2)

find your tarbiyah world and live 100% in it. it may seems so strange for you but eventually, with Allah will you'll get the hang of it. it would feel beautiful. the hardship seems so right. you can really understand and relate to how Rasullullah used to live.

Don't worry if peoples start leaving you as you become "strange" to them. but be extremely happy because Allah start to recognize you. A little more hardship may come time by time, it's Allah love letter. The love He gives is so wonderful that in dunya it gave you strength will in akhirat it gives you heaven.

Roll On : Driving Around, Playing Around @ KL

Dec 10, 2014

We were having a blast though we short of one person. Since we choose to drive by ourselves it would be best to have 4 person in the trip but everyone were busy and just left the three of us. I have been wanting to do this like a long time and Alhamdulillah I finally got the chance now. It is actually a simple trip where we visit all sort of place in KL.

We start off with Pusat Sains Negara !

PSN was very coooooooooooooooooooooooool. We got to play all sort of thing which relate to science subjects we studied during our highschool. Kind to think of it, we are not the age group that PSN target. Hee. There were only school student who visit at that time! Imagine that ! The ticket was very cheap also. Complete with it's own aquarium and lots of fancy exhibiton to play around with I would really suggest you all to go here. Especially for kids. They would be in awe~

interestingly, the weird not wrong proportion of hand and tongue and stuuff were made such that it represent the "size" of the brain brain part that control it. somethng called cortical homunculi.

Next, we headed for Planetarium. Sadly the time for the space theater show thingy have passed so we simply stroll around the exhibition part which is not much thing actually. I am quite sad at that time cause the main thing I wanted to do for that day trip is to watch the show. Huhu

T_____________T

ADULT (13 years and above) : RM12.00
ADULT WITH MYKAD (13 years and above) : RM6.00
CHILDREN (2 to 12 years old) : RM8.00
CHILDREN WITH MYKID (2 to 12 years old) : RM4.00

amazing view outside of Planetarium

So it is Asar now, we decided to went to Masjid Negara to pray. The prayer hall, which what I mean the hall where they got proper carpet, was suprisingly not so big. But they have a large open space like when they show Jumaat prayer at TV where most of the people praying outside. They also have these jubah for foreigners that wanted to visit the masjid. On top of that, there is this cemetary which is thought as warisan negara or something but i'm not sure who actually got buried there. We don't took much photos. Thought that it didn't look much appropriate.

After that we went for Muzium Kesenian Islam which is located directly in front of the masjid. And it is closed !! It was quite weird because according to the website we have about half an hour to visit the muzium. I was quite sad also because I do love looking at art pieces. We just went for the souvenirs shop and catch a glimpse of what they have there. Allah swt really does plan something for us~~

le stunning outside view

Then we went fot Tugu Negara ! I am quite excited to finally be here. I don't know why but i just like it. Jiha told us that the model of the tugu, some of it kot, stil alive. I can't imagine the exact situation where the pose for the statue. It must be awkward~

We then walk around the taman near there, Taman Perdana something. Even the taman here have fancy decorations~

And guess where we have our maghrib prayer? So we thought it would be boring to went back to Masjid Negara so we went for Masjid Bukit Aman. Yup. Right next to Bukit Aman Police HQ place. Takda pon policemen in uniform praying there~

Lastly we went to KLCC to watch air pancut warna warni. Yup. Only for that. When we arrive they were playing Bunkface song and the air pancut follow that song rhythm. We were captivated. When the song finished we hang around for awhile hoping for the next song to be played. NO MORE SONG WAS PLAYED. Duhh~

We headed back then.

The car we use was rented from this abang at IMR. Quite cheap actually as compare to other car we surveyed on. From 2 PM untill 9 PM for RM45. The abang siap drive us back to KTSN okayyyy. It was a white auto Myvi~

Actually have a lot of picture but i use my phone as GPS so it runs out of batteries. Much of the pictures was taken from my friends.

Actually, all these places except for PSN were really nearby. And there is some other attraction here also.

How about Taman Burung for our next trip? And of course PLANETARIUM~

Roll On : Run For The Deaf 2014 and Sukiya

Dec 7, 2014

So, I volunteer myself in this event. Together with some of my coursemates. We went there early in the morning like 6 or something but still quite late (taxi tak ada la tunggu org la apela) and have our actual duty been replaced by others ; which is a checkpoint person. But we got to be the one who gives out the goodies bag. I like giving free things to people. Hee~

Actually, it is really nice since we just hang around the finish line. Eventually everyone have to be here. I gotta say this is  really Allah work. You may ask for something, but He give you a different thing but just the thing that you NEED.

Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not. (2:216)

It gotta be quite awkward since these runners are quite not-so-conservative whereby they might touch touch which is not like they are pervert or somewhat but it just makes me really not comfortable. Deeply feel "Alhamdulillah dtg lambat" actually.

We even befriend with this England's kid named Amanda. She is actually the daughter of the person who organize the event. She got this boy from Sabah that hang around with her. We very much enjoy this two kids company. I can't remember his name though.

But Amanda is rather annoying. She keep on "forces" us to play with her and her imagination was far beyond our comprehension. But she still is a cute and nice kid. She is rather outspoken as compared to normal Malaysian kids and not to forget a high imagination capability and she ain't shy of showing it off. The boy though as if she loses her mind and say to us she is "macam tak betul".

I gotta to say that boy have some guts (?) to play with Amanda. Hopefully he can learn something, like to be as confident as her.

Enough kids story, back to bussiness.

Actually our felo is the one in charge of having us, some UKMs students, to do this volunteering job. That is how i manage to get this volunteer job. It is only then i realize that there is quite a number of fun volunteering job out there. We get to know new peoples and gain new experience. It was really a day well spent!

After that, we went for Sukiya at Pavillion. I AM DEEPLY IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE.

yet it is really expensive. about RM35 per person. Oh, Sukiya is a steamboat place. We got to choose the soup that we want with no extra charge (Seoul garden charge extra okayyyy) and end up choosing all 4. I can't remeber the name of the soup but one of it like tomyam, another is like plain chicken soup and even have this sort of soy soup. They give chicken, beef and even lamb meat!

The meat is not marinated with anything if i'm not mistaken so we could enjoy the superbly fresh meaty taste and i gotta to say the soy soup one was really the best as it make the meat sweeter. They got all sort of veggies, and sushi and icecream and it it almost 4am now and i am hungry.

Let the pictures do the rest then~

becoming inpatient as they delay the staring time due to kena wait for someone. the organizer kena boo kot!

finishers medal boxes. GOLD medal boxes. Fancy gila international event ni.

timed the time the start to run! do your best peeps!

trying to become pro photographer with no pro camera. T___T

it was so early that even the coffee shop pon tak bukak lagi. grrr.

we need to cross the numbers so that they didn't take extra. still have some who takes extra and told us like bendda tu banyak what. and i'm like, ohmaigod tamaknya manunsiaaaa.

creating a lane people to "guide" the runners to the right path. to free goodies path.

each pot contain to separated soup. they didn't give spoon and fork at first. I ASKED FOR ONE.

there is the soup! another one is missing. i forget to mention that they have the friendliset service ever!

i don't know what is it but it take great. macam pedas pedas manis manis masam masam sikit.

The most unique thing is that since they are deaf, even the peoples who help to organize the event and of course most of the runners, the speak with signs. I love it since no jerit-jerit what ever and they look so compose and confident. Great new things your can see in new setting.
